Description
V1p278b In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 278 center left. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Text written under photo: "Herrings have come 1912." Photo shows a herring boat with a three-man crew and full of fish. The boat has just tied up after a fishing trip. Other boats can be seen behind it. Most contain crew members; one is full of seagulls.
