Photograph caption dated September 25, 1957 reads "This is overall scene showing two-story home of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Huge fireball from exploding fuel burned guest house, center, to ground, gutted garage and swimming pool dressing rooms, in background. Firemen working with Guardsmen and police search through ruins trying to find possible clues to what caused crash, fifth fatal plane crash in San Fernando Valley this year. Mrs. Stone had been swimming in pool, near gutted house, two hours before plane crashed. She was talking to her son on telephone and watched in horror as jet blew up in back-yard."
