Photograph article dated October 26, 1960 partially reads, "A Japanese high school senior, who thought she would never see an American pen pal again, was a house guest at her Valley home last weekend. Kazuko Seki, 17, whose father is a city planner and professor of sociology at the University of Hokkaido in Sapporo, northern Japan, first met her hostess when they were pupils at the Chapel Hill, N.C. elementary school."
