Description
Early family home movies taken of the Hawksworth Family and Friends. John Hawksworth and his wife, Marge Wells Hawksworth were long time Madera County citizens and were stewards of Nelder Grove of the Giant Sequoias, an area within Madera County known for its Giant Sequoias that, unfortunately, were severely damaged in the 2017 Railroad Fire. They were instrumental in documenting early Forest history within the State of California, especially in Madera County. Marge's mother, Alice was born at Shattucks Mill in Madera County.
