IMP-HRN-FSM-OA-1-AdMiR_BidS, _RHS -- Oskar Gemuseus (1874-1959) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. He served as headmaster from 1907 to 1916, as mission superintendent of Nyassa [Nyasa] Province from 1925 to 1930, as bishop from 1932 to 1939. Starting in 1939 he wrote a history of the mission in Nyasa Province ("Wechselnde Gezeiten an den Gestaden des Nyassa"). His wife was Mathilde, née Richter.
