Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Photograph caption reads: "Los Angeles animal control officer Von Slomski "walks" beagle at the Harbor District shelter". A veterinarian from the shelter examined the male beagle and theorized it may have suffered a spinal injury as a pup and was forced to learn to walk on only two legs. The dog has four healthy legs, but still walks only on the front two, apparently from habit. Photograph dated: May 20, 1977.
