He is a general all-around gunsmith who is known for his design of match rifles...Many of the Clerke target rifles start out a stock Model 70 Winchesters and finally emerge from the work bench completely altered to the customers specifications...Clerke has a case full of rifle match trophies that lend credence to his ability with a match rifle as well as his ability to form a thing of high performance on his work bench. Clerke is a shooting man as well as a top craftsman."
