Description
Photograph of the Broadway façade of the Los Angeles County Courthouse, [s.d.]. The Gothic-style courthouse is at center and has a very tall clock tower over its entry way. In addition to this tower, there are several other towers and spires reaching into the air from the stone walls. The windows on the bottom are rectangular, and those on top are arched. There is a large staircase leading up to the arch of the main doorway. The grounds in front of the building contain several curving paths that divide the grass into neat islands. The courthouse was erected in 1887.
