Description
Merrill Joan Gerber discusses her book, “This is a Voice from your Past.” She begins by discussing how she uses experiences from her own life in her writing. Her book is a collection of short stories that begins with a story in which the protagonist is a writing professor whose former student shows up and begins stalking her. Gerber goes on to explore another story in the collection that deals with both leukemia and a night stalker who preys on women who lives in yellow houses. Later in the interview she discusses her creative writing teaching at Cal Tech and her work writing in various genres.
