Description
Aerial view of the Marysville flood, February 25-29, 1940. This view just north of the Sutter Buttes was taken in May after the flood still shows the damage and breaks in the levee along the Sacramento River. There were more than sixteen breaks in both the Sacramento and Feather Rivers from this storm.
