Photograph caption dated March 8, 1986 reads, "Writer-director Billy Wilder, middle, was given the AFI Life Achievement Award by Patty Duke and George Stevens, Jr." Pictured with Wilder and Stevens is Jean Picker Firstenberg, then President of the American Film Institute. Firstenberg was incorrectly identified as Patty Duke by the Herald Examiner newspaper.
