The image is part of a 1984 presentation for the City of Santa Monica Historical Preservation Plan survey. The presentation serves as an overview of the character and architecture of surveyed area, plus some highlights from the particular architectural heritage of Santa Monica. Palisades Beach Road is the site of numerous palatial homes from the 1920s, some built by noted architects 702 was built in 1941, 703 was designed by John Byers and built in 1928, 705 was built for Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks in 1922.
