Photograph of the Parade Ground at the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers in Sawtelle, [s.d.]. A dirt walkway is at center and runs away from the viewer to a large building. Another similar walkway is perpendicular to the first. A person dressed in dark clothing is walking along the path near a large flag pole, flying from which is an American flag. The building at the end of the path is a two-story wooden structure with rectangular doors and windows, as well as a steeply sloped roof. There is an assortment of trees on either side of the path near the flag pole.
