Description
“Opera della S. Infanzia. Salvati dai Cani!. Women at the mission hold babies in their arms as they pose for a photo with two little children and a baby in a basket. The eldest of the two children standing was saved by nuns after being thrown to the dogs by his parents. His face is partially disfigured from the mauling. This photograph was provided by Bishop Merel Canton. There is no handwriting on the back of the postcard.
