Sisters (front, left-to-right) Ofelia, Evangelina, Consuelo, and Rosemary Rivera stand in front of their unifomed uncle Frank Estrada (rear) on the sidewalk of their house on San Carlos Street in the Belvedere neighborhood of East Los Angeles before Frank's deployment to serve in the US Army in the Pacific theater during World War II.
