Description
This circa 1970 aerial view of industrial Sacramento features the city's riverfront along the Sacramento River. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Interstate 5 and 80 were completed, allowing for the over 600,000 people that entered and/or exited the city each day to take the freeway instead navigating through the city streets.
