Description
Note translation: "This photograph was put into the collection after the beginning of First World War." (C. M. Geary, E-30-0,7 and E-30-0,8).- "This is very likely in the Bamileke area. The accordion is standing on a typical Bamileke stool. And the slim houses look like Bamileke too. The women on the left with bright-coloured bands around their heads are probably chiefs' wives with their cowrie bands" (PV 02.2002).
