Photograph caption dated November 30, 1984 reads, "Grim Search Ends: L.A. County Fire Department rescue workers struggled yesterday to retrieve the body of a 30-year-old construction worker who was buried when a trench 16 feet deep collapsed at a housing project site in Walnut at Grand Avenue and Valley Boulevard. A second worker narrowly escaped."
