Description
Charles Handy talk on the nature of attitudes and practices in the work environment, and how they should change. Specifically, Handy introduces the concept of the Second Curve and its implications for organizational change. He identifies two types of curves that are currently happening in organizations, namely, the federalist revolution and the principles of subsidiarity and twin citizenship, and, second, the doughnut approach to organization. Handy ultimately concludes that bringing a more human aspect to the corporate world would enable people to have a more full life, where there is a balance of work, love, and community.
