Description
View of the Santa Monica city hall building at Fourth Street and Santa Monica Boulevard, still in the process of being built. There are scaffolds, construction workers, and lumber piled nearby.
Title devised by cataloger. Date and identification based on note by donor Ernest Marquez with this print that reads: "Santa Monica City Hall." Research shows that the City Hall was built at Fourth Street and Santa Monica Blvd. in 1903 and demolished in the late 1930s. Note: this is a print - the original negative is not in this collection.
