Description
This is a photograph of "a woman catechist, [back seat left] observing the methods of [Fr. McRae] teaching the doctrine to a group of young girls at Saint Josephs school in Taiwan [now Dawan]."
Rev. MacRae was born in Dorchester, MA. He joined Maryknoll in 1921 and was ordained in 1930. That year he was assigned to Wuchow and remained there until 1937.
