"Eingeborene Helfer in Goedverwacht." ("Native assistants in Goedverwacht."). The picture shows a group of twelve men and ten women of African and probably mixed origin. The men stand in the background. The women sit in the front row. All of the women wear scarfs or hats around their heads but none of the men wears a hat. The picture was probably taken in front of the two entrance doors on the smaller side to the left of the church building. Imprinted on the image with dark color: "Eingeborene in Goedverwacht. Süd-Afrika-West. No. 525." ("Natives in Goedverwacht. South Africa West No. 525."). Photography faded.
