Photograph article dated May 19, 1962 partially reads, "Authentic costumes created by members of Senior Girl Scout Troops 1838 of Encino will add to their Hawaiian Fantasy Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Encino Community Center, 4935 Balboa Blvd. The 14 troop members will present Hawaiian, Samoan and Tahitian dances at the event, proceeds of which will add to their funds for a trip this summer and a planned trip to Hawaii in 1963."
