Description
Photograph of an aquarium on the edge of Avalon Bay on Catalina Island, ca.1905. The aquarium is at center and is a low, single-story building with a flat roof. There are many people seated on long benches at left, and two large ships are visible beyond these people in the harbor. A wide dirt street runs away from the viewer at right, and a row of tall houses lines the road at right. A tall hill is visible in the distance.
