Photograph caption dated December 14, 1959 reads, "Two fumbles which alerted Reseda players grabbed, and were instrumental in setting up both Regent scores, are caught by camera here, as Reseda advanced to finals of All-City football Saturday playoffs by dropping Fremont, 14-6. Bonecrushing tackling in both cases separated Fremont runners from ball. In upper photo Reseda men are Jack Douglas (77) and Dennis Monypeny (22), while Fremont men are Guards Ralph Avila (17) and Don Walton (33). In lower photo Regents Verne Vihlene (72) and John Walker (70) tackle Jerry Cohill--and ball went spurting out into the vagrant air." Pictured are: Douglas, Monypeny, Avila and Walton.
