Photograph caption date stamped May 7, 1964 reads, "Mrs. Betty Loveys, right, and Mrs. Donna Smith, left, played today for the championship of the Lakeside Women's Golf Club championship, but when Valley Times photographer Gordon Dean took this picture Thursday morning the issue was still in doubt as to who the finalists would be. Mrs. Loveys defeated Mrs. Millie Alexander, second from left, 2 up and Mrs. Smith defeated Mrs. Dagmar Qittimen 3 up, to gain the finals."
