Description: Oak Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park is located 300 Curtner Avenue in San Jose. Founded in 1839, it is the oldest secular cemetery in California. “Burials at Oak Hill include Charles Doerr, a baker who served on the San Jose City Count in the 1890s, and members of the Donner party, including Curtner, Schallenberger, Reed, Eddy, and Murphy.
