Photograph caption dated May 6, 1965 reads, "Surrounding Joe Nappi, co-chairman of the 'Miss Canoga Park' beauty pageant, are Karen Ferguson, left and Barbara Schultz, both of Canoga Park, who were among the first to sign up for the event, scheduled for May 31, in conjunction with the community's 'Holiday at Home' parade and celebration. Any Valley girl who is at least 16 and single may obtain entry blanks by contacting the Canoga Park Chamber of Commerce office at 340-6228."
