Photograph caption dated April 6, 1963 reads, "Burbank Res Cross workers give 'first aid' to the engine of their used station wagon. from left are Mrs. Jack Leaverton, member, Woman's Club of Burbank, and chairman of the Burbank Red Cross volunteer Motor Corps, Benjamin Watson, chapter chairman, and Mrs. G. Ray Sherwood, past club president and a Red Cross driver for 20 years. The station wagon is the only car available to transport local Red Cross workers to the scene of a disaster."
