Description
Shown is a fruit packing label for Cal-fine Tomatoes, circa 1945. The product was grown and packaged by Ensher, Alexander & Barsoom, Incorporated, who had moved their headquarters from Mendota, Fresno County, to Sacramento in 1935. They also began operating a cannery in Isleton that same year. The Product of U.S.A. label on the center-right suggests that the fruit packaging label may have been made during World War II.
