Description
For 5.0" aircraft rocket and 7.2" demolition rocket. 6.17: long. Steel and brass, aluminum alloy arming plunger, copper diaphragm. Two models were made, Model 0 and Model 1. About 44,000 Model 0's were manufactured by Caltech. About 12,000 of these were delivered to the army for use in the 7.2" demolition rocket. The remainder went to the navy for use in the 5.0" aircraft rocket. "A": cutaway; "B": complete, stamped Mk146, but slightly different from 9A. No Date
