Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Holy Cross Hospital was founded by the Sisters of Holy Cross and was originally slated to be built in Panorama City. It was eventually built at 15031 Rinaldi Street in Mission Hills and opened in 1961. In 1996 the Sisters of Providence acquired the hospital and renamed it Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. Photograph caption dated May 15, 1965 reads "Holy Cross Hospital yesterday honored seven employes [sic] at an open house at the hospital, 15031 Rinaldi St., San Fernando, as the outstanding workers in their divisions. Selection was made by fellow employes [sic] in keeping with National Hospital Week, observed currently. From left are Joseph Leszynski, Mrs. Ralley Aparicio, Mrs. Evelyn Dixon, Miss Nan Fulton, Rowena Peterson, Jesse Pratt, Sister Olivia Marie, C.S.C., administrator; and Jose Angel Orrantia."
