Description
San Bruno Park School, the first school in the San Bruno area, was known as the "Old Tin Schoolhouse." The school was in operation between 1907 and 1910, and the building later served as the site for San Bruno City Hall until 1954. Henry Schmidt Jr. is on the top right. The tallest boy in the class is James Bedford, who served in the San Bruno Police Department in the 1940s and '50s. Gift of Bernice Cook Roberts.
