During rare quiet period, Pat Vance, 4, who lost right leg at seven months, gazes serenely into future made bright by father who built artificial leg that enables him to lead nearly normal life." The article partially reads "'Hush there, baby, daddy's going to make you a new leg.' And with a combination of love and engineering skill, that's exactly what Herbert H.
