Description
Triangular Knights Templar apron with metal skull and crossed bones on apron body and metal crossed swords on flap . These aprons were discontinued in the 1870s but continued to be used in some areas for ritual, so this object may be older than its owner. Evidence on a label sewn on the back testifies to this as it lists the original owner as F.H. Kudworth. This name is crossed out and Jean Kieffer is marked in. Label is printed with the maker, "S.P. Kepler & Son, Practical Tailors, 99 Main Street, Norwich, Conn."
