View of the Bombardment taken from the Presidio in San Francisco. A mock military battle staged on July 3rd, 1876, in honor of the US Centennial anniversary. Sea battle on San Francisco Bay is pictured, many sailing vessels are visible. Spectators are visible on the grass in the foreground. They are seated, standing, and several are in horse-drawn wagons. One tent is also visible.
