Photograph caption dated May 19, 1961 reads, "Rojim M. Lewis, 4530 Tyrone St., Sherman Oaks, was pronounced dead on arrival at Valley Receiving Hospital after he slipped while playing at a construction site. Rescuers, above, treated the 9-year-old boy at the scene of the accident, 14640 Dickens St., but it was too late. Investigators said the youth was walking on a girder, slipped, and hit his head on cement foundation. A companion, Warner Page, who had been playing on the other side of the structure, found young Lewis in a foundation trench."
