Description
Three men on a wooden stage outdoors. A KSFO microphone is on the podium. The Mexican and U.S. flags are draped on the podium. A crowd looks on as Ernie Renzel presents what appears to be the Key to San Jose to a Mexican official. (Renzel has identified this man as Padilla on the face of the photograph. However, Luis Padilla Nervo was not the Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1945, he was the Mexican Ambassador to the United Nations).
