Monsen's handwritten label on back says: "Canyon de Chelly, Arizona. Canyons de Chelly and Del Muerto receive a tremendous amount of water - the drainage after every storm. For brief periods the canyons are filled from wall to wall as great volumes of water flow through them to the desert beyond."
