Images were chosen from family albums and include daily life, social organizations, work, personal and holiday celebrations, and migration and immigration activities. Shirley with a play tea set. Her family emigrated from Austria and Hungary in the late 1800's. Her grandfather owned a cigar store at the present site of Los Angeles City Hall.
