Description
"Dorfbild in der Ebene am Nyassa-See. Eine viereckige, bemalte Hütte (Kibaga)." ("Village in the plain near Lake Nyasa. A rectangular, painted hut (Kibaga)."). A hut [kibaga] of the Nyakyusa ethnic group made of bamboo covered by a grass roof and with a painted entrance door. People stand and sit near the hut, which is surrounded by banana plants. Imprinted on the image: "Kibaga eines Nyakiusa. Ost Afrika No. 757." ("Kibaga of a Nyakiusa. East Africa no. 757.").
