Description
As of June 2010, the Santa Monica Land & Water Co. building, located at Sunset Boulevard and Antioch Street, is a Starbucks coffee shop. The small park known as Village Green is seen in the foreground.
Actor Ted Knight was one of many celebrities who opposed the planned razing of Pacific Palisades Village center. Knight (right) exhorts the gathering to "save the building" (in background). Director Jerry Paris and actor Peter Graves is in the foreground. Photograph dated October 3, 1982.
