In: [Scenes of Sacramento] [manuscript] / Eugene Walter Hepting. [Sacramento, Calif. : E. Hepting, 1938?], Vol. D, leaf 5.
On right of broad street are commercial buildings; on left commercial businesses occupy lower story of a 3 story structure with apartments on 2nd & 3rd floors; 2nd & 3rd floors on corner occupy a bay-window element with 3 angular sides; below bay-window element on lower story is an insurance business with sign outside; on right side is a 2 story commercial building with a drug store on first floor with identifying sign. Businesses include: Marglo, auto insurance, chevrolet dealership.
Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento.
