Dewberry has been on staff at the Valley times since September, 1948 working as editor, reporter, photographer, feature writer and columnist. She was elected, 1958, as the national president of Theta Sigma Phi, professional fraternity for women in journalism and is president of Zonta Club of North Hollywood, international organization for women in business and the professions.
