Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated May 11, 1962 partially reads, "Two men, captured by police after a half-mile chase through North Hollywood, were in jail today on suspicion of an attempted liquor store robbery. Apprehended Thursday were Fred R. Emery, 28, 316 N. New Hampshire Ave., Los Angeles, who police said escaped from Chino Prison nine months ago, and Arthur Harris, 41, 6420 Elmer Ave., North Hollywood. Police said the men entered Berardino’s Liquor Store, 5742 Tujunga Ave., shortly after 2 p.m. and tried to hold up the owner, Fortunato Berardino, 36, who ran out the front door."
