Description
In 1977, at the height of his second unit directing career, Micky Moore traveled to South Africa to direct a little-known Blaxploitation-era film. Originally called "Shuttlecock," then "Shark's Game," then finally "Sharpies," the film was ultimately released as "Mister Deathman." The film was the personal project of African-American stuntman and actor David Broadnax, who had appeared in "Superfly," "Cotton Comes to Harlem," among other films. In "Mister Deathman," Broadnax played the lead character, Geoffrey Graves, a "black James Bond type character," in his own words.
