Description
Photograph of Christmas decorations at night on Broadway near the Federal building and Majestic, 1930-1931. From the foreground at left, Broadway can be seen extending into the background at right with street car tracks running along its center. On the right side of the street, several cars can be seen parked along the curb near a large crowd of people. Along each of the sidewalks, several trees can be seen decorated with Christmas lights and garland. These decorated trees and street lamps run parallel with the street into the background. In the foreground at center, a wreath with two bells hangs from a lamppost near a small traffic light. Several signs hang from some of the tall buildings on the side of the street including "The May Co.", "Majestic", and "Federal Enter 902 Bdwy."
