Photograph caption dated November 2, 1961 reads "World racing champion Mike Hailwood, Oxford, England, will ride his $15,000 Hondo [sic] (No. 26) in the International Grand Prix for motorcycles tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday at the Rosamond International Raceway in the Antelope Valley. The 2 1/2-mile paved road course is located between Lancaster and Mojave, just off Highway 6."
