Photograph of a portrait compilation of the Los Angeles Board of Education, 1902. The picture is a composite of eleven individual portraits arranged in three columns of three with a row of two above: J. A. Foshay, Supt. Of Public Schools N. S. Averill, Secretary W. J. Washburn, 1st Ward C. F. Skilling, 2nd Ward W. A. Henry, 3rd Ward G. M. Griffin, 4th Ward A. M. Brown, 5th Ward J. H. Foley, 6th Ward B. F. Hard, 7th Ward W. J. Horgan, 8th Ward G. M. Simonton, 9th Ward. All of the men are wearing suit jackets and either bow or straight ties. All of the men have some form of facial hair except for Brown and Horgan.
