Description
Photograph shows the Messilla Valley School District. It was established in 1856 when it was the first district set apart from Oregon Township, there by being one of the earliest schools in the county. It annexed the Willows District sometime about 1890 and the Cottonwood District in 1919. It became part of the Golden Feather Union District when that district was formed in 1962.
